Local History Matters

Located on the banks of the beautiful Pocomoke River, the Delmarva Discovery Museum is housed in a historic Art Deco brick building originally built as an automobile garage in 1910. The Museum was conceived as a place where visitors could explore the rich history and the natural world of Delmarva, the peninsula comprised of Lower Delaware and the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia. The Delmarva Discovery Museum welcomes visitors of all ages to explore our 16,000 sq. foot building with its exhibits featuring the natural and cultural histories of Delmarva.
