The Delmarva Discovery Museum Bright Futures Annual Fund Drive

I am grateful to be the Executive Director of the Delmarva Discovery Museum for many reasons; the main reason is knowing that our work has a meaningful impact on thousands of youths and families across our region and beyond.

I am also grateful that I am not doing this work alone. I get to work with you, our members and donors. Your contribution to the Museum makes all this critical work possible. Your donations and memberships are vital to its success. That is why I am writing to ask you to donate to the Museum. Your donation is even more valuable now because, thanks to some generous benefactors, we have matching funds that we can leverage dollar-for-dollar. This means that your donation before year-end will go twice as far - $25,000 in donations becomes $50,000 to be used to continue the critical educational work the Museum is doing.

As a donor you play a vital role in the operation of the museum. Your partnership makes it possible for the Discovery Museum to reach over 14,000 people yearly and introduce them to the cultural heritage and ecological wonders of our amazing community.

• Your donation makes it possible for us to:
  • Improve our exhibits, such as the new mural in our Indigenous people exhibit created by nationally renown artist Michael Rosato
  • Provide care for our Otter Animal Ambassadors Mack and Tuc
  • Offer low priced educational field trips to over 4000 youths from our four-county area.
    • This year every first grader in the Worcester County Schools will visit the museum as part of a collaboration with the school system.
